Butterfly valves are valves that can be used to isolate or regulate flow. The shutdown mechanism uses disks. Operation is similar to a ball valve and can be closed quickly. Butterfly valves are generally preferred because they cost less than other valve designs and are lighter in weight, which means less support is required. The disc is located in the center of the pipe, and a rod passing through the disc is connected to the actuator on the outside of the valve. The rotary actuator can make the disc parallel to or perpendicular to the flow. Unlike ball valves, the disc is always present in the flow and therefore always causes a pressure drop in the flow regardless of the valve position.

The R03 is a cylindrical dust collector for discharging pneumatically filled silos. Its stainless steel body contains vertically mounted filter elements. The air jet cleaning system is integrated in a hinged weather shield.
